The Palmdale Playhouse presents
Detailed Moments in Time • Art by Teddi Bandt
Thursday, May 11 - Sunday, July 9
Free Reception: Thursday, May 11, 6:30-8:30 pm
Palmdale Playhouse, 38334 10th St. East
Teddi Bandt knew by age five that art would always define her. As a child she drew houses, schools and barns from three-quarter angles with correct perspective and free-hand use of vantage points. Later, she studied art at the University Eau Claire, WI. Her midwest roots can be seen in her artwork — landscapes and seascapes transport you to a place not confined within the frame, and her portraits tell a story; both capture that ‘moment in time.’ Using graphite, oil, watercolor, acrylic, colored pencil and ink, she is an award-winning artist and genre painter. This display can be viewed free during any public event.

Palmdale Junior Ballet and Theatre Dance present
Dare to Dance – Recital
Saturday, May 13, 6pm
Palmdale Playhouse, 38334 10th St. East
A lively and energetic dance presentation of The Pied Piper featuring classical, ballet, modern, hip hop and rhythm tap. Where have all the children gone? When mice invade a small village, a traveling musician offers to remove them. Once the mice are gone, the villagers refuse to pay the musician, so he begins to play and the children follow his music out of town and into the hills.
